These Diamond shaped strap achors are the quintessential accent to your bag.

Installation: These anchors are installed on your bag front or gusset exterior using the two included "ladder" style washers, and a 2" square of Decovil Heavy 526, per anchor. 

You can fuse the Decovil stabilizer to the back of the area where you will attach the connector, or just use it as a backing between the material and the washers.  This provides more rigidity and protects the material of the bag from any rubbing over time. 

If using the included stabilizer and fusing it to your bag: straighten the prongs of the anchor and hold it against the stabilizer to mark where slits need to be cut. Use a seam ripper to push through the stabilizer and bag and slowly slide along your marked slit. Only slice just enough for the prongs to push through from the right side of the bag.  Once pushed through, slide a ladder washer over the prongs and flatten the prongs away from the anchor for maximum spread.  You can always bend inwards if that's your preference.

If using the stabilizer and not fusing it (maybe your material can't withstand heat), use the prongs as a template to mark the slots as above.  Do the same for the back of your material, using the prongs as a template. Carefully cut the slits using the seam ripper method mentioned above. Slide the prongs through the slits from the right side of your bag, then slide the stabilizer into the prongs as if it were a washer, then slide the ladder washers into the prongs. Spread the prongs as above. 

If you don't need or want to use the Decovil Stabiliser, just skip over the parts of the installation instructions where they are mentioned and jump straight to using the metal ladder washers. 

Repeat 3 more times for each anchor and enjoy!
