RIVETS, GROMMETS + SCREWS

RIVETING (haha "rivet") TIP: the rivet should be the same length as the total thickness of your strap.  If it sticks out past the hole you punched, the tip of the post will make a bump in your cap, or the post will bend and the rivet installation will be cockeyed.
