Measurements: Factory cut into 18" wide by approx 55" long
Drapey vinyl with a bit of stretch.. If you going it make a structured bag, you'll probably want to add a stabilizer.
Tip: When you cut out your pattern pieces, sew along all the raw edges, within your seam allowance, sewing the ripples down in the correct direction, so you don't have think about the ripples potentially flipping over, when sewing them right sides together.
Pre-cut into 18" pieces, therefore cuts are not continuous, and may have a variance of +/- 0.5". The width of fabric is around 55".
Vinyl ships folded. This fascinating material can be scrunched up into a ball and bounces back when you let go. If you need to iron it, do it carefully on low, from the back side. If that's not enough, press on the front side with a pressing cloth, paying attention to the direction of the ripples.

MATTE BLACK FINISH
In a nutshell, the black finish is a thin electroplated coating on top of a silver coloured base metal like zinc or aluminum. It's gorgeous, but it isn't perfect. Be aware that the matte finish is more prone to showing imperfections, and the coating in general can wear off over time. If you scratch it with something sharp, the silver underneath can become visible.
It's all soooo worth it though - you can have matte black make a statement, or take a back seat to your fabric and let it pop. Your choice!
ZIPPERS AND WEBBING
They are cut by the meter (not yard)- but a meter is 39.5". I like to round up to 40" when I measure and cut your order, so you get a little more than a meter each time!
