19mm (3/4") wide Strap ends, pack of four, with 2 matching matte black screws per peice.
Width of opening is 4mm.
Adds a little something extra to the ends of your straps, great for hiding the raw ends.
The sides of these are open, just in case you made your strap is just a touch too wide for the fully enclosed kind of strap end. ;)
Slide the caps onto the end of your strap and use the 2 included screws to secure. A tiny screwdriver is required and glue is recommended.

DID YOU KNOW?
MATTE BLACK FINISH
In a nutshell, the black finish is a thin coating on top of a silver coloured base metal like zinc or aluminum. It's gorgeous, but it isn't perfect. Be aware that the matte finish is more prone to showing imperfections,, and the coating in general can wear off over time. If you scratch it with something sharp, the silver underneath can become visible.
ZIPPERS AND WEBBING
They are cut by the meter (not yard)- but a meter is 39.5". I like to round up to 40" when I measure and cut your order, so you get a little more than a meter each time!
HOW MANY PRODUCTS
How many darkest bag supplies are in this shop? At the time of my July 2023 inventory count, there are 335 unique items!
THE AFA TEAM
I mostly work alone. I'm either "in the warehouse" (the basement), or "at the office" (a chair in the corner of my bedroom). Sometimes my boyfriend or my friend/neighbour will give me hand. The cats sometimes 'supurrrvise' me while I'm at the office. But for the most part, there is only one person running all aspects of the business.
SHIPPING
Since I get asked this often, I'll add this here. (It's also mentioned in the Shipping Policy.)
Lettermail is not offered due to the lack of tracking and insurance to protect both of us.
It is also too time consuming to determine whether the product can be made flat enough to fit in a Lettermail slot that is no thicker than 2cm(1"). Then unbag the products and repackage them, and then tape them onto a piece of paper, so they are as flat as possible, and don't shift in the envelope while in transit. They then have to be padded for protection, and sothat they don't tear through the envelope. The product plus the thickness of a bubble mailer makes it too thick for Lettermail. Then I have to go out and purchase an envelope of the size required to ensure all products are taped flat, then acquire sufficient postage. Since I predominantly ship parcels and print shipping labels, I don't have all sizes of Lettermail envelopes and denominations of stamps on hand, so a trip to the post office is necessary.
ONE MORE THING
Hey - thanks for visiting my little shop today!
It exists because you are here! <3
I'm always appalled by the quality of the hardware purchased from Atelier Fiber Arts. She always has the best matte black hardware that you won't find in most custom hardware shops.
