Designed by moi! The bats are "tossed" meaning they face all directions so there will be an "upright" bat no matter which way you look at it, and they are in the center of the tape so that they are not cut off by the seam allowance. The Teeth are dyed to match where the bats are so they are.
SPEAKING OF DYED: you can dye these! Alcohol ink is permanent and doesn't wash out in the laundry!

(Photos don't do this justice! It's hard to photograph white on white and then when I removed the background to get a nice, bright white, it somehow took out some of the zipper tape. I am a tad embarrassed to admit that even after so many years, I'm still not very good at this photo-editing stuff!)

I know these are in the Last Chance collection and it's usually where items go because they are retiring or they aren't perfect, but in the case of this zipper tape, it's there because as a custom design, I had to purchase 1000 yards of it. There's a lot of it - help me reduce my inventory, please! lol!
Size #5 is perfect for purses, bags, totes, carriers, and more.
The zipper tape is 1 1/4″ wide.
Zippers are sold by the meter will come in continuous lengths.
DID YOU KNOW?
MATTE BLACK FINISH
In a nutshell, the black finish is a thin electroplated coating on top of a silver coloured base metal like zinc or aluminum. It's gorgeous, but it isn't perfect. Be aware that the matte finish is more prone to showing imperfections, and the coating in general can wear off over time. If you scratch it with something sharp, the silver underneath can become visible.
It's all soooo worth it though - you can have matte black make a statement, or take a back seat to your fabric and let it pop. Your choice!
ZIPPERS AND WEBBING
They are cut by the meter (not yard)- but a meter is 39.5". I like to round up to 40" when I measure and cut your order, so you get a little more than a meter each time!
